Dr. Erin graduated cum laude from Northwestern Health Sciences University. During undergraduate school she majored in Biology and Minored in Chemistry, earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University and an Associates of Science from McHenry County College.
Dr. Erin's Story
At age 17, I was living the life of an 80-year-old. I was trapped in a cycle of chronic pain, fatigue, constant headaches, numbness, burning and tingling down both arms, struggling with gallbladder and appendix issues and facing uncertainty about how I was going to prepare for the life ahead of me. My dreams and goals were slowly slipping away. I tried many things from an outside-in approach to healing, including different medications and surgeries to heal my body. Nothing worked. My journey brought me to chiropractic. With regular chiropractic adjustments, my nervous system was finally able to heal my body from the inside out.
I, like many of you may be, was a bit skeptical about Chiropractic before I tried it. I didn't think my back could have anything to do with my health. I proudly admit I was wrong.
I have been where many of you may be right now; trapped in the viscous cycle of not being healthy and not knowing where to turn to get the help I so desperately wanted. I ran into problems with doctors not listening to me or really even caring about the trouble I was having. I decided to become a chiropractor to help people learn about another approach to health so that others don't have to suffer the way I did. I emphasize chiropractic care for people of all ages - especially children. If I can help others live a rejuvenating and invigorating life without having to experience what I did, than I have truly accomplished something in life.
